The Harvard Medical School Center for Global Health Delivery–Dubai hosted an Open House evening at its office in Dubai Healthcare City. Forty invited guests attend the event, co-hosted with the UAE chapter of Harvard Business School Alumni. The purpose of the Open House was to forge formal communication channels between the guests and the Center, build relationships, and to increase the visibility of the Center. The guests were from a wide cross-section of health, business, and policy organizations based in the UAE. During the event, the Center Director, Dr. Salmaan Keshavjee, gave a presentation highlighting the Center’s progress in its mission toward building local and regional capacity for high-quality health delivery research and education objectives, after which, there was a question and answer session. Guests also had the opportunity to network with one another and Center staff, while learning more about Center’s mission, scholarship programs, and events.
