The second workshop in the series, “How to develop a research protocol,” was aimed to help individuals develop a comprehensive research protocol,  the different types of data collection tools, and how to develop effective data collection tools for their proposal. The workshop also helped the students understand how to prepare a budget proposal, timelines, and standardized protocol and reporting checklist. Finally, the workshop provided a complete basic ethical review of research and understanding of the IRB processes for applications and responses. This was a one day workshop.
