Global NCD Research – Perspectives from INDEPTH and UAE Countries

The Harvard Medical School Center for Global Health Delivery–Dubai hosted a two day meeting organized by the INDEPTH Network which is an organization based in Africa which conducts longitudinal research based on Health and Demographic Surveillance System (HDSS) field sites in low- and middle-income countries (LMICs) to improve the lives of people in these countries by informing and influencing policy. The meeting in Dubai hosted more than 60 scientists from over 20 countries. More than 10 published scientists presented to the group on their current and future projects as well as discussing possible collaborations between its existing network and UAE based scientists.
